The following clips are examples of interviews done by students as part of the EMPATHY element of the Design Thinking stage. The idea here is to encourage students to interview an authentic target audience, to enable them to elicit information that would help them in their projects. The information obtained would enable them to sharpen the key elements of the challenge of current outdoor furniture designs. These would then help them to ascertain the key features that they would want to focus on for their redesigned proposals.
